Getting Closer!

Crazy to say this, but time is actually still going pretty fast. This baby boy is going to be here in no time. As exhausting as work is for me right now, it really does make the pregnancy time go quickly. I had a doctor's appointment on Friday and I was dilated to a 1 and 70% effaced; Doc predicts I will deliver before my due date...but we will see! Tuesday I am 37 weeks and considered full term, so any time now. I will start my maternity leave from work on August 12th. I keep saying with my luck he will decide to make his grand entrance as soon as I go on maternity leave (maybe even within hours...) giving me no "down time" or extra "nesting time."

I had a WONDERFUL weekend with my mom being here in Logan and my awesome mother in law hosting my baby shower here. We are so blessed to have so many friends and family help us get prepared for the babes to arrive. After this shower I really do feel like we have everything we need. Just a few finishing touches we need to take care of in the nursery (pictures to come soon, as soon as it is officially finished!) and Blake is in the process of making (yes making- he has a new hobby) our cradle! We could not be more excited!!

36 1/2 WEEKS!

What a good looking Grandma to be..

4th of July

We were able to carry out our yearly tradition with the Brown family for the 4th! Oakley Rodeo, BBQs, Park City and a small town parade! Not gonna lie, the first 45 minutes of the Rodeo were a bit torturous with the heat, but after that it was perfect! The rodeo is always entertaining and Josh loves to be able to enjoy a Rodeo Burger and Cotton Candy- I seriously hear him the entire day before, "Can't wait for the Rodeo Burger!" Not that great in my opinion, but I am not the best critic when it comes to burgers... Weather was a little stormy on the 4th, which was fine by me as we sat and watched the parade through Oakley.

Now that the month of July is here, we can officially say the baby will be her NEXT month- CRAZY!

Boise Baby Shower

A couple weeks ago my Aunt Heidi threw me a baby shower in Boise. I am so grateful or all the family and friends that were able to come. Babies truly are expensive, and I am so appreciative of all the generous gifts we received. Getting all "baby prepped" is starting to make me feel very EXCITED about the little boy coming soon! Can't wait for our life to be flipped upside-down - in a good way! Thanks again Auntie Heidi for having the shower and to my mom for all her help!
