Starting the year off with an update to the last of 2012 and a start to 2013! Kason and I were in Boise for pretty much the last 2 weeks of the month. When my mom was diagnosed with her breast cancer we had made a plan to come early for Christmas. That way I could help her with things, we could spend time together, and I could go to one of her chemo treatments with her! Overall I am amazed and taken back with how well my mom is doing. She really hasn't skipped a beat and tires to carry on with life as normal as possible. She has a down day or two after her chemo treatments, then she is back on the horse taking life by the horns! She is pretty awesome!
So we headed to Boise, just in time for the Potato Bowl the Aggies were playing in. Josh got to stay for the weekend and then headed back to work (someone's gotta make some money!) Kase and I stayed and Played! Josh came back to Boise Christmas Eve and we had missed him like crazy! I think Kase and I had played a little too hard cause we were both sick when Josh arrived! Daddy played nurse and of course got sick a couple days later! : ( Sooooo. We were sick on Christmas. We were sick the rest of the time we were in Boise. We were ready to get home to our bed! We had a nice Christmas with my family (minus the sick part) Kason had no energy/desire to get excited about presents, but we will have that much more to look forward to for next Christmas!
PICTURE OVERLOAD (don't mind the vampire red eyes in half the pics. My camera is jacked and if I make edits, the picture turns into a blank black shot!?)
Favorite place to play and Granny's
Potato Bowl. Loved spending no kid time with my hubs!
14th annual Girls Christmas Party! The framed pic is from our senior year in High School. Everyone was there but Candice, we missed you girlie!
Christmas Eve, Kase starts to get sick!
We got a couple smiles out of Kase, even with a fever and rosy cheeks!
Examining the presents Christmas Eve. Having high hopes he would be feeling good the next morn...
...not so much. We did lots of this...
The Wiggles were our BFFs!
New hat for Christmas...representing Kansas!
The boys all shaved their heads as a Christmas surprise for Mama!
Luckily we got a little Christmas re-do on New Years Eve (Yes it took
that long to finally start feeling on the mend) We were spoiled for the
second time and Kason got to enjoy it this go-around! Hopefully now that
we have all been sickies, we got our fix for the winter!!
Round #2: IN MUCH BETTER SPIRITS!
Sweet Jersey Onsie from Uncle Jordan!
New Chair from Granny n Grandpa Brown. Thinks he's a little King in it!
